More Space. More Voices. More Possibility.
A permanent home for community arts education, opening Fall 2027.
Something is being built in Austin.
Not just a building – a new way of doing things.
Austin is one of the fastest-growing regions in the country, and the creative energy in this city has never been greater. Talented educators, artists, and youth advocates are doing extraordinary work – reaching students, building skills, and changing lives through the power of the arts. But Austin’s growth has not reached everyone equally, and the organizations working hardest to close that gap are doing so while navigating real and persistent barriers: limited funding, scarce affordable space, a shifting policy landscape, and a sector that—through no fault of its own—has largely had to work in parallel rather than together.
What we are building changes that equation.
By bringing six leading organizations under one roof, we are creating the conditions for something that has never existed in Austin before: a truly coordinated, resource-sharing, cross-pollinating hub that lets every partner do more of what they do best—and reach far more of the families who need them most.
Strategically located adjacent to Dr. General Garwood Marshall Middle School in Austin’s Mueller District, the building links in-school and community-based arts through shared programming, walkable access and a transit-friendly design. It is purpose-designed to be a neighborhood anchor—not just for the organizations inside, but for every family in the surrounding community.
The 25,000-square-foot facility will include:
● State-of-the-Art Classrooms: Dedicated spaces for youth, family, and community enrichment.
● Performance & Public Space: Street-level areas for local artist showcases and community enrichment programs.
● Creative Studios: A digital music production and film studio to foster modern creative skills.
● Community Resources: Children’s and family resource libraries and flexible professional training spaces.
● Collaborative Administrative Hub: Affordable office spaces that allow nonprofits to shift costs from rent to mission-critical programs.
Construction begins Fall 2026.

Help us finish the story
As of today, we are about 83% of the way towards meeting our full campaign goal, thanks to the extraordinary commitment of some major donors, foundations, and community supporters. What remains is the final chapter—and we’re inviting our entire community to help write it.
Your gift helps close the gap. It completes a building that will serve Austin’s young people for generations. It turns a coalition of organizations into a permanent institution.
