Creative Action is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and we use financial aid to support our belief that all Central Texas youth should have access to high-quality, arts-based programming that equips them with critical life skills. Financial aid is one way we work toward the goal of matching or exceeding the school’s diversity of racial and economic demographics in our Creative Action programs.
Our financial aid and sliding scale process prioritizes families with the greatest need, based on the information provided in their applications. To guide this process, we use the current Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG) to help determine rates, and when possible and funds are available, we work individually with families who may need additional support based on extenuating circumstances.
A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
Our process is confidential.
Applying for financial aid will neither increase nor decrease your chances of acceptance.
Financial aid is based on a sliding scale that varies from person to person.
We do not offer financial aid because of a student being enrolled in multiple programs, private school tuition, or other situations involving elective activities.
Summer Camp 2027
Information about financial aid for Summer Camp 2027 will be available in January.
During Summer Camp 2026, 249 families received financial aid to attend camp. Over $120,000 was awarded.
After School 2026-27
Please complete the After School 2026-27 application below for EACH student you wish to attend after school.
Allow up to two weeks for us to process your financial aid application. We will contact you over email regarding your financial aid award.
We highly recommend you hold your spot in the program, as well as applying for Financial Aid, by registering in Active HERE. All that is due at the time of registration is the enrollment fee. This will hold your space for After School while we review your financial aid application. If, for any reason, your award does not meet your family's needs, we will cancel your registration and issue a refund of the registration fee.
